(14,167 posts)6. And he's good at setting up perjury during depositions...
The article goes on to report that Graff tried to snatch a $4 million diamond necklace off Hiltons neck, and had to be physically restrained by security guards before she was booted out of the club.
In reaching the settlement, its possible Paris saved herself from a perjury charge.
During her deposition, Paris insisted she didnt know anything about the article in the Post. However, her former publicist Rob Shutter went on the record to say that Paris was the one who gave him the information to pass on to the Post.

(14,167 posts)5. He has a PoliSci degree and experience in politics.
While in college and later in law school, Michael worked at a political opposition research and media firm run by Rahm Emanuel (who later became White House Chief of Staff and is presently the Mayor of Chicago). During his time there, Michael worked on over 150 campaigns in 42 states, including multiple gubernatorial and congressional campaigns (i.e. Joe Bidens U.S. Senate Campaign).
This man is very far from a lightweight. He's the total package: a great litigator, media savvy, and freaking intelligent (graduated Order of the Coif, first in his class).
AND... he perfectly understands the political dynamics and climate in which this lawsuit is playing out.
