So Mercer was washing $$$ through Bolton's super pac which then Bolton's
super pac used to buy "product from C.A..

<The John Bolton Super PAC, led by the former diplomat and foreign policy hard-liner, paid Cambridge Analytica more than $1.1 million in the 2014 and 2016 cycles for research, according to Federal Election Commission filings. Mercer has been the largest donor to Bolton’s super PAC, giving $5 million since the 2014 cycle, according to FEC records.

Part of the work that Cambridge Analytica performed for Bolton’s super PAC was psychographic voter targeting, which the company claimed could profile voters on the basis of certain characteristics. The predictive micro targeting was based in part on data gleaned from Facebook profiles and other sources, according to documents and former Cambridge Analytica employees.>

THen this would be highly illegal ... but I'm pretty damn sure they're not. It's not a charity.

However, it is shady as hell as far as it being a means to conceal the original source of the funds paid to CA.

And there maybe OTHER laws governing Super Pacs in particular that would make this sort of thing illegal in terms of campaign finance (such as that they're only allowed to advocate for issues, not candidates), but it's not really money-laundering is all I'm saying.

I really have to believe that. This man is a treasonous ratfucker of the worst kind.
Most likely Mercer wrote the code that CA used for these data mining exercises.
I'm so tired of him and ugly daughter.

12. The whole 50 million Facebook account data only makes sense to a certain point. Firstly, it

was in 2014, 2 years before the election. People's preferences change.

Secondly, Wylie said that this data was used to build the personality algorithms. We have no knowledge yet what happened that particular data set later. It seems to me that this data set was for development/test purposes.

What I suspect is that there has to be far further breaches of Facebook and/or voter rolls. We know they got the RNC data (if it was as extensive as they say it was), but how did they know how to target it in key districts, both to encourage Republicans to get out and vote, and discourage Democrats from voting.

This has the serious whiff of less than half the story. It's not just about the 50 million records.
