President Trump claimed on Twitter this morning that many lawyers want to represent him in the Russia case, and Twitter reacted with, well, a heavy dose of skepticism.

(4,694 posts)He'll perjure himself immediately if he's interviewed by Mueller.
He'll disagree with you and publicly belittle you.
He'll fire you in a matter of weeks or even days.
Then he'll stiff you for your fees.
And you'll be tarnished forever for having worked for Trump.
Why wouldn't any lawyer jump at the chance to be Trump's attorney?

(1,035 posts)Very few in Big Law want to take on Trump as client for all of the reasons above AND
the firm's reputation will be tarnished forever from the crap work you have to do for Trump. Look at the lawyers at Morgan Lewis who worked for Trump. They are the laughingstocks of the profession.

Would be easier to hire ring masters from defunct circuses. That would be the main function of any firm he was able to retain.
Managing the three ring circus that is the current administration. Or six? Oh, never mind.
Cheers!

While writing, he was probably trying to excrete the mass composed of all the Big Macs he consumed yesterday, and his pudgy finger slipped.
What he meant to write was "Manly lawyers..."
