I assume it's because of the inability to regulate privatized care for vets and a fear that the system will be abused. But is there any easy link to the Dem position that I can share? Thanks.

(30,481 posts)That the verbiage for the reforms were going to be included without any means of funding. They also argued the reforms werent near far enough. To the point it still held some of the more onerous aspects, like the waiting period.

(10,185 posts)There are at least 3 different programs that I have used at one time or another. The RepubliCONS wanted to hand a good portion of the remaining services over to commercial for profit medical providers with very little oversight by the VA. And they would reduce the VA staff itself as well. It would be an ad hoc complicated mess that would be so confusing it would reduce the quality of care.
