What makes you think they aren't? Look at the faces in the crowds. Those are not all high school kids.

The march was organized by high school students and they are the speakers, so it's mainly their thing. But it looks to me like there are people of all ages in the crowd.

Are high school-aged considered millennials? If so at least the tail end of that generation is becoming "woke".

and the other marches around the country. That's the whole point! This isn't like the '60s where the protests occurred mostly on college campuses and consisted almost entirely of students at those colleges. It's intended to include everyone, although organized and focused on high school students. I have no doubt that there are many college students at these marches, just like there are older people. I'd be at one myself if I could.

I guess they are to busy trying to figure out how they are going to pay off their life long debt.

There were 500+ in Keene NH. The largest contingent were 55+. Home to Keene state college, though I saw no obvious college age presence. Not even a large number of high school kids, and they organized it. Not a criticism, just an observation.

For those on the right who condemn and criticize “the kids,” I call BS. I’m impressed by their passion. Can’t wait for all of them to turn 18 and vote. good observation
