So many of these mass attacks were young men angry about not being able to have their pick of women. It's not talked about that much, but it should be.

some entitled little piece of shit decided that he would rather kill her than be rejected by her. I am so tired of hearing about stories like this. RIP Jaelynn.

Men are a leading cause of death for women.

3 women a day die at the hands of men they thought at one time loved them. So, the entitlement isn't just among the young.

It's something we really need to address as a culture. Hopefully the #MeToo movement will lead into that.

Horrific that yet another family is decimated by this fact.

I am so sad by this and all the grievous gun stories. I am OLD.

"Back in the Day" (I am a geezer), individual violence involved horrible fistfights, some knives etc.

For sure, there was terrible group violence ala gay bashing, rapes, lynchings --- but not reported to the general public until recently.

I suspect those were fueled by testosterone as well, as you posit.

Toxic testosterone plus a GUN is the difference between a nasty beating and death.

So so wrong. This happens too often outside of schools. Those deaths need to be addressed too.
