The hoops you have to jump through to watch the Olympics on NBC online

are ridiculous. You would think that there would just be a live stream button to click. Not so. You have to put in your zip code, and them the name of your local station and other foolishness. Forget it! I'll just go to bed.

There IS no NBC local station in central western MI! (let alone any part of Northern MI, I think)

No broadband either. No cable TV either.

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Some people don't have those luxuries.

I have what I have. It's been fairly good. There just isn't an NBC affiliate close enough with enough power.

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

I have a rotored roof antenna. It's 25 yrs old but it's a fairly good fringe antenna. I also have an amp, but it's inside. Reception is fair to good on most channels, poor on a couple.

Unfortunately, my acrophobia precludes me going onto my roof, which is fairly steep. Even if I could afford an upgrade I'd have to pay for installation. Still, I like some TV.

I get two PBS stations very well, one of which broadcasts MHz Worldview 24/7, which is very good. International news, commentary, and drama.
