Well, it's finally happened. A 16 seed beats a 1 seed....

And not just any 1 seed. UVA seemed nearly unbeatable. Dare I say almost a shoe in as National Champion. But beat they were. And not just beat.....humiliated. Beat down like some cellar dweller. And not by a terribly good 16 seed. One of the weakest 16 seeds in recent memory. It was bound to happen statistically, but UMBC?! Beats UVA?! No one saw that coming. NO ONE!

but it would be like some team that backed into the tournament not only beating the best UConn team in years, but beating the crap out of them.

I always figured it would be someone like Murray State or Davidson knocking off the lowest 1 seed. Nope.
