Marx Bro's Guide to Stormy and The Don's NDA

Believe me, if you watch the whole thing, you will notice many, many similarities. And if you make it to the sanity clause, you will cheer. Groucho's "contract" must be as legally binding as Cohen's.

Probably their best.

Well, maybe Duck Soup.

Regardless, Groucho and Co. were great.

Don't get me started about A Day at the Races or Animal Crackers.

Just imagine what would happen if Stormy's NDA had a sanity clause! The orange menace would be in huge trouble.

Don Jr says, "Last night I shot an elephant in my pajamas. What he was doing in my pajamas I'll never know."

If Don Sr is Groucho, Chico is Don Jr, Harpo is Eric, but what about Zeppo and Gummo? Zeppo was the straight man, and we never saw Gummo (that I remember, maybe just didn't know it was him).

It is full of wonderful stories and songs.

Everybody works but Father.
He sits around all day.
Feet in front of the fireplace
Smoking his pipe of clay.

Mother takes in washing
And also sister Ann.
Everybody works in my house
But my old man!

and introduced my son to it a few years ago. He really got into and absorbed a ton of his parent's vinyl collections. Hell, he even transferred a ton of it to CD's for his Luddite parents.

In the mid-1970s, in a fit of creativity, I stitched it in needlepoint. And now I wonder where the heck I stashed that? I know where the album is, but no idea where the needlepoint is!

Lydia the Tattooed Lady

Groucho Marx

Lydia, oh! Lydia, say have you met Lydia
Oh! Lydia, the tattooed lady
She has eyes that folks adore so
And a torso even more so
Lydia, oh! Lydia, that "Encyclopedia"
Oh! Lydia, the Queen of tattoo
On her back is the Battle of Waterloo
Beside it the Wreck of the Hesperus too
And proudly above the waves
The Red, White and Blue
You can learn a lot from Lydia
She can give you a view of the world
In tattoo if you step up and tell her where
For a dime you can see Kankakee or Paree
Or Washington crossing the Delaware
Oh! Lydia, oh! Lydia, say have you met Lydia
Oh! Lydia, the tattooed lady
When her muscles start relaxin'
Up the hill comes Andrew Jackson
Lydia, oh! Lydia, that "Encyclopedia"
Oh! Lydia, the champ of them all
For two…
