All young Democrats, energetic, sincere, knowledgeable, articulate - yes, I am starting to feel better about our party.
Nothing against Biden, Pelosi, Hillary, Warren, Feinstein - all wise people who can advise on the direction of the party.
But during the Republican primaries I was jealous of so many young candidates that they had. No, I would not want Jindal, Walker, Cruz, Rubio, Chrisite representing me in any capacity, but all were in their 40s and 50s.
Of course, Beto O'Rourke is not a member of Congress, yet. But he was impressive on Bill Maher.
And, yes, I agree with his top priorities: jobs, health, immigration.
Not Russia and the environment, asked Maher. Not the top three. Quite wise. The ones that he chose are the ones that are personal while, Russia and the environment are more abstract. Not a "kitchen table" topics for most voters.

(63,221 posts)I would like to see more young, energetic candidates emerging. There are two from my state, MA, that I am impressed by: Seth Moulton and Katherine Clark. Seth is a little more visible, but they are both great candidates.
