(115,829 posts)It doesn't matter whether it was designed to withstand a nuclear war or an alien invasion or whether it had built-in wi-fi and butt-warmers or that it would seat the entire Olympic sumo team (if there is one). They were authorized to spend only $5K and they ignored that limit.
Isn't it strange that GOPers who are so indignant about excessive government spending are happy to use the treasury as their personal piggy banks once they get government jobs and decide their perks aren't as lavish as they're used to and deserve?
