A downside of divorce being that she'd forfeit the spousal privilege of protection from being compelled to testify against Jr. But if they've truly "led separate lives" or just if she's been too busy with the 5 kids ('cause I have a hard time picturing Jr as a hands-on dad) to have any real dirt on Jr. that Mueller'd be interested in maybe that's not a major downside.
