(18,964 posts)I hate to use this analogy but it seems that our country has behaved like an alcoholic...
we are/were binging on nationalism, greed and bigotry and we kept "OD-ing" on it from the time of Reagan...
the only time we were willing to change is when we hit rock bottom...
I cannot think of anything more rock-bottom than Trump:
Rampant, blatant corruption
Treason right out in the open.
Ignorance treated as a virtue.
We've hit rock bottom...it's time to sober up and get back to our true values...
