In view of the current thread concerning Bernie that now has 400 responses, could we just

apply the generous logic of the oft-quoted---and misquoted---adage: "My PARTY, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right; when wrong, to be made right"?

... if it was further misquoted to change "right" to "correct", just because of the idea some might say we should take the party night-leaning.

But I get your point. And I, too, ignore the Bernie threads. I'd have voted for him if he won the primary, but he didn't, and rehashing the past had it's time... before Postmortem forum closed.

...but the problem on here too frequently is that when the party is wrong, too many people not only don't want to admit it themselves, but they try and shout down and stop other people from trying to talk about it and make it right.

And we may not always agree on what "wrong" is, but it shouldn't be disallowed for it to be discussed and debated vigorously.
