If the GOP tries to drag out a recount in PA, it could magnify their loss.

The House is unfortunately not close enough so that Lamb or Saccone occupying the seat this year will have basically no effect on legislation.

But, especially if there's no real pathway to a win, dragging the race out keeps the race in the news and reminds everyone what a pasting they took. And it will piss off and motivate Democrats further to turn out for the races that really DO matter.

It's hard to comprehend what the point of a recount regardless of who initially won, would be.

Over that timespan the winner gets to send out updates on how they are representing the people using the franking privilege while everyone else has to pay to mail campaign materials.
