Not the ones made up by Republican propagandists and their paid actors, but misdeeds that he really committed?

How could he work effectively with Senators, who are otherwise solidly for everything he is, but tossed him aside like trash the second Fox Noise made up some scheme to distract from the Roy Moore debacle?

Debbie Stabenow, Tammy Baldwin, Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, dozens of other Senators we all know, respect and support, all fell for a James O'Keefe-like scam. They should all fall down on their knees before Al Franken and beg him for forgiveness. Tina Smith should announce her intention to resign in favor of candidate Al Franken for the special election.

By falling for the Fox scam, the Democratic Senators committed an unbelievably shameful act for which there is one and only one atonement: ask, no, BEG, Al Franken to run again for his seat, and acknowledge that they got deceived--and promise to show a little more common sense and a LOT more solidarity when the radical right's next victim (and there will be many) has been chosen.

5. The governor appointed Tina Smith to take Franken's place in the Senate

until the election and then she'd run to keep the seat; the idea was that incumbency is an advantage. Franken could certainly run against Smith in the primary, but he probably has decided that after his Senate colleagues threw him under the bus he couldn't be effective any more.

The other one, Amy Klobuchar, is also up for re-election this year in the normal cycle.

I WISH Smith would stand down and have Franken run for his seat, but he probably isn't interested at this point.

Of what Franken will or won’t do.

I only hope Al hasn’t given up on us.

A reminder to the “list” of senators, Franken is not just a memory... He’s as alive as ever in some folks heart. No one has done one thing to atone for this horrible calamity.
