When this story plays out, no one should ever forget the silence of the Republican Party. I do believe we will survive this challenge to our democracy. I sincerely hope so. But it will not be because of anything the Republicans have done.

We have a Republican Trump sycophant running in PA today who has said that Democrats hate Trump, our country, the GOP, and God. I would say to him that, unlike he and his Republican comrades, Democrats are not traitors to our country. We are not afraid to speak out against our leaders if they are in bed with Vladimir Putin. Liberals may be "snowflakes" but they are not chickenshits.

Republicans that think their silence will be rewarded are going to be sorely disappointed. They may be able to shut down their investigations but they will not be able to shut down the facts and the truth of their complicity with Donald Trump. They can run but they cannot hide.
