But if you don't understand the difference, explaining it to you would be pointless. To be short, any bluedog that would vote like a republican became a real republican years ago.

6. A Blue Dog Democrat would not end the Russian investigation in the House.

Nor would they vote to end Social Security and Medicare. And, they'd be more amenable to background checks, raising the age to buy guns, and possibly open to banning assault weapons.

No, they would not support single payer health care nor free public college for all, but they may be open to a public option to buy health insurance, expansion of Medicaid, and controls on predatory lending on college students.

IOW, you won't get everything you want, but you would get a lot more than what you'd get from a Republican.
