Screw Young Meme. EVERYONE JUST EVERYONE No Matter Their Age Needs Health Care.
The meme that healthy young people do not need health care forget insurance crap is the BIGGEST LIE ever told. We have to beat back the insidious crap that younger people do not need it. The GOP pushes the meme the younger people should be able to buy cheaper junk insurance or do not really need it.
My case in point. At 31 I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I was inducted into the military with 160/100 blood pressure. It was on may draft physical and I found out AFTER I got back from Vietnam. I have been on blood pressure medications for over 40 years.
Younger people get sick with the same diseases as older people do. And even younger people need consistent well being information all their lives. How we live and eat matters more than we know. And anyone who has a family knows the need for medical care for the youngest members also. Active young people have accidents or suffer sports injuries and other things.
Medicare for all is the only answer. Insurance is not the answer if it is for profit.
