They executed them. The people who worked with Russia in order to fix our elections need to wind
up in the super max prison in Colorado. It was and still is treason and we had a coup.

Paul Ryan Keeps It All in the Family
Theres two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump, McCarthy said, according to Entous, a superb reporter who heard a tape recording of the colloquy. Swear to God.

In the Post piece, McCarthys remark is met with laughter, and Ryan cautions his colleagues, This is an off the record . . . No leaks! . . . All right?
snip
And then, amid more laughter, Ryan says, This is how we know were a real family here.
Thats how you know that were tight, Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, says.
Whats said in the family stays in the family, Ryan concludes.

(17,984 posts)I don't want them anywhere near me. This prison is about two hours south of my home, and I'm afraid I would be able to smell them. Better to dump them in shark infested waters and be rid of them forever.

(4,533 posts)The Rosenberg were not charged with treason. The federal crime of treason is narrow, probably because our smart founders knew it would be tempting to charge political opponents. Treason requires actually waging war on the US, or aiding a country we have declared war on, or aiding a group or country actually waging war against us. In the fifties as now Russia does not fit the requirements of being engaged in war with us.
And while I am being a precision nazi I might add another that bugs me. Jim Jones gave his followers flavor aide. Not koolaid. It should be he swallowed the flavoraid, not koolaid.

(4,533 posts)The Supreme Court has written about this topic. They require actual war, not leaking emails.
Changing the definition of a crime violates due process of law. It is unconstitutional to change the definition of a crime without a new law. Congress can pass a new law changing what treason means. But they have not done so. Conservatives claim swapping donations which save millions of lives for approval of the sale of mineral rights is treason. That just is inconsistent with Supreme Court opinions on what treason is. Even if we accept the brain dead view Hillary did that.
I am not saying Russia didnt harm us. I am not saying we dont have every right to fuck them over because of it. I am not saying we shouldnt throw colluding Trumpsters in jail for life. I am not saying Rosenberg didnt deserve execution. But the words of law can not be given new unintended meanings. Changing the meaning of a law to something not intended by those who passed it is inconsistent with the rule of law. The Supremes wont buy it.

May not be remembering right or the numbers may've changed but I for sure read it at some point in the distant past ... I wanna say it was about half and half ...
