And what did the US Government do to the Rosenbergs who sold out America to Russia (Soviet Union)?

Last edited Sat Mar 10, 2018, 01:57 PM - Edit history (3)

They executed them. The people who worked with Russia in order to fix our elections need to wind
up in the super max prison in Colorado. It was and still is treason and we had a coup.

Paul Ryan Keeps It All in the Family

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy said, according to Entous, a superb reporter who heard a tape recording of the colloquy. “Swear to God.”

In the Post piece, McCarthy’s remark is met with laughter, and Ryan cautions his colleagues, “This is an off the record . . . No leaks! . . . All right?”

And then, amid more laughter, Ryan says, “This is how we know we’re a real family here.”

“That’s how you know that we’re tight,” Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, says.

“What’s said in the family stays in the family,” Ryan concludes.

I don't want them anywhere near me. This prison is about two hours south of my home, and I'm afraid I would be able to smell them. Better to dump them in shark infested waters and be rid of them forever.

7. Actually it is not the federal crime of treason

The Rosenberg were not charged with treason. The federal crime of treason is narrow, probably because our smart founders knew it would be tempting to charge political opponents. Treason requires actually waging war on the US, or aiding a country we have declared war on, or aiding a group or country actually waging war against us. In the fifties as now Russia does not fit the requirements of being engaged in war with us.

And while I am being a precision nazi I might add another that bugs me. Jim Jones gave his followers flavor aide. Not koolaid. It should be he swallowed the flavoraid, not koolaid.

10. Some people want to cling onto an outdated definition of war (e.g.using guns to shoot each other)

The Supreme Court has written about this topic. They require actual war, not leaking emails.

Changing the definition of a crime violates “due process of law.” It is unconstitutional to change the definition of a crime without a new law. Congress can pass a new law changing what treason means. But they have not done so. Conservatives claim swapping donations which save millions of lives for approval of the sale of mineral rights is treason. That just is inconsistent with Supreme Court opinions on what treason is. Even if we accept the brain dead view Hillary did that.

I am not saying Russia didn’t harm us. I am not saying we don’t have every right to fuck them over because of it. I am not saying we shouldn’t throw colluding Trumpsters in jail for life. I am not saying Rosenberg didn’t deserve execution. But the words of law can not be given new unintended meanings. Changing the meaning of a law to something not intended by those who passed it is inconsistent with the rule of law. The Supremes won’t buy it.

A lot of people were in fact refusing to drink the flavoraid, but that was not a 'way out' for them, sadly, as then they were just gunned down.

May not be remembering right or the numbers may've changed but I for sure read it at some point in the distant past ... I wanna say it was about half and half ...
