(32,727 posts)if voters had known about her prior to 2016 election, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the election.
Umm... if trump broke the law, he should be held accountable. Period. Uggh.

(7,358 posts)He has a right to an opinion. And, he's probably right. This ''Stormy Daniels" scandal wouldn't have had any influence on Trump voters. How many women have come forward about Trumps sexual advances? We knew Trump was a pathetic slob of a human being before he ran for President.

(32,727 posts)up. I don't give 2 shits about Stormy or trump's dick, but if trump broke campaign finance laws, he should be held responsible. I don't agree with giving him a pass. That's called enabling and normalizing. And yes, all the passes Bernie seems to give trump are frustrating as fuck to a lot of people, especially considering the damage trump is doing to this country!

(118,759 posts)not be more trolling to not allow any Bernie posts to keep the wounds open come the 2018 or 2020 elections? I mean I am a Hillary supporter and posted Bernie was on the tv to be kind to our Bernie Sanders loving Duers. Because I am not afraid. We can talk about him really we can. You are the only one causing disruption.

(44,173 posts)Bernie primary supporter 2016 here. You need to get used to the fact he is going to have to answer hard questions this time about policy implementation and various gaffes hes made (blaming Clinton for not stopping Russian Bots from supporting his campaign.). His apparent lack of financial transparency, his dark money superpac, the apparent nepotism in using our donations to pay Jane, Carolina, and Levi salaries on his campaign.
It isnt just going to come from DUers. So lets stop smearing folks with legit questions as haters. I doubt Biden or other competitors are going to be as nice to Bernie as HRC was. There is not going to be a Sanders coronation and the sooner you face the fact you are going to have the help Bernie earn votes the better.

(19,566 posts)I'm not trying to be embroiled in this particular bit of drama just yet, but I hope when it's mainstream everyone thinks like you right now. You get the depth of the complexities... there's not going to be an easy path without every flaw being examined and reexamined under a microscope.
Kneejerking and alerting on people just because they don't agree with you is childish. Reality is things are about to get serious, and ugly and if you can't manage that you're not helping.

(44,173 posts)Ironic isnt it?
It will be a very competitive primary I think. Candidates will be required to present concrete policy and explain stupid shit they have said (blaming other Dems for not stopping bots from supporting Jeff Weavers operation in 2016 for example). It is not just evil DU haters who are going to ask hard questions. Votes must be earned and suggestions that any candidates are infallible/not subject to questioning will be met with the derision such suggestions deserve.
Cha

There will be so much to explain!
Also looking forward to a Democratic President!

(65,180 posts)Bernie is old, but personally I like him the most right now. I would like to see a younger progressive in his mold. His son has the good ideas but does not seem to have the temperament. Plenty of time to develop good candidates.

(5,803 posts)Lets see, he sides with Dana Loesch, the NRA and confederate flag worshippers. He pulls out the long knives for Democrats while he pats Trump on the back.
He is absolutely unhinged on Twitter. Not an ounce of leadership in him.

(65,180 posts)We don't need another one who attacks people like Trump does though. I think he should stick to local politics the way he is.

(16,973 posts)and his connections to Manafort IOW, current news. This performance today is just another reminder of how he avoids the current news questions presented to favor his own self-selected topics. But, I doubt he makes it past the tax return questions. Doubtful he will be viable.

(65,180 posts)disregard the CBO. If they showed they were for all working people (focusing on the white working class only is misguided - there are working people of all races of course) and the middle class, that would help even in red states.
