She said that when Mueller and his team are asking questions, they already know the answers to them. Basically, they are rounding up the liars while dotting i's and crossing t's.
And the questions that Mueller's team are asking are down to "What did the President know and when did he know it...?"

(1,020 posts)Don't trust the MSM, so they trust Cheetolini *for now*.
When the first indictment of a Cheetolini cabinet or senior staff member comes down and they plead guilty, that trust will begin to quickly erode, and that 60mm number will fall rather rapidly.
Manaford, Gates et al, they were involved in the election. They are not involved in making policy. They have no role in establishing law.
If Mueller corners Bannon, Miller, or anyone else involved to that degree in actual legislation, even the fundagelicals drop their support for Cheetolini.
In short, the 60mm are ignoring the treason bc it doesn't involve / affect them, and it got "their man" elected. Once Cheetolini is no longer viewed as "their man", it's a whole new ball game.

But I will hope your scenario works out.

The NRA and Fox News will probably portray it as such.

(1,020 posts)I fear there will be civil war. Remember those red/blue maps of the US where the red states were labelled, Jesusland? Like that, only not funny.
ps: I adore your username! Let's hope our government doesn't make that sound...
I think they will continue to be the impotent deplorables they always have been. I would worry about one of the nut jobs staging an act of terrorism, though.
If we were currently in a deep depression, my calculus might change a little. From 0% up to maybe 1%. Even then, it would be the fringe of the fringe that would be crushed damn quickly.

(11,885 posts)They know the answers of every question they ask, and have much more than anyone knows. People called before them like Malcolm Nance says, they have 2 choices, tell the truth, or lie and go to prison, and there's some pretty scared people in the White House now.

But the vast majority of my trials were bench trials so I wasnt risking that much. Still, if I could type better with one finger on my IPad, the stories I could bore people with.

(562 posts)Or the main reason IMHO.
Mueller would ask him questions he has the answer to, and Trump will lie, no matter how hard he tries not to, or what his lawyers tell him to say, because Trump's psyche compels him to lie. He has little control over it.

I plan to read her book as soon as all this settles down.

I also agree that it looks like he's closing in on Trump. He's getting all his ducks in a row.
