Less brawn, more brains
Trump's recent attempt to convince us that he would have dashed straight for the AR-15 spray....without a gun....tossed me back a few years. But, George W. Bush's Mission Accomplished codpiece was no match for the image of Trump bounding out of his golf cart and straight into the line of fire, bone spurs and all. That image erased my memory of Trump and the eagle, Trump and the umbrella, Trump and the paper towels. I even let go of the memory of Trump reminding rally attendees that years ago rabble rousers would be taken out on stretchers.
Trump wants bigger walls, more torture, tougher punishments. He even wants a Pennsylvania Avenue military parade. Lotta brawn.
If you're interested in the brains part, you'll have to look elsewhere.....like maybe at the Parkland students. They've spoken more straightforwardly, acted more courageously, facilitated change more quickly than most adult politicians four times their age. We can learn so much from them.
