I hope that the standard for vetting Democratic candidates for office includes reading a candidate's

platform; reading about the history of the candidate; his/her accomplishments at the very least.

I don't see how cherry picking tweets is a constructive way to vet candidates.

Do we ingore when someone slams Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. Joe Kennedy, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harries, Barack Obama and Joy Reid while praising while praising the NRA's goon. There are plenty of candidates in the district who agree on the issues.

I can think of a million more damaging things to be outraged about than what is mentioned here. Also, using random tweets out of context to disparage a candidate lowers the credibility of such posts.

Someone needs to explain just what qualifies this bullshit artist as a Democrat?

They can't do it honestly, because he is not.

Wtf more proof do ya need. Its his own words. His thoughts. His claim to political fame. And it will follow him forever.

There is nothing credible to defend.

"Passionate progressive"! WooHoo! Such detail!

His campaign website has even less. His Twitter stream consists mostly of retweets with slogans, most of which are at typical "keyboard crusader" level of detail.

Maybe, just maybe, he should follow in his dad's footsteps and run for lower office first and build up an actual track record.

He can now Drop the letter D behind his name.

before turning them over. If a candidate wants to run as a Dem, they should publicly release their returns before the first primary or caucus.

The only way for our candidate to have any credibility when demanding the GOP nominee release his or her returns is for our candidate to release them, too.

I think it should be a requirement for federal and statewide offices, but I don't think for local.

Ffs, he credits Trump, Loesche & the NRA while dumping on every decent Dem he named.

What are people supposed to judge him by if not his own damn words?

What an asshole.
His words represent everything that's going backward in this country & he's got NOTHING else that defines him but his last name.

And that's just not enough anymore.
He's got to have his own credible accomplishments not just a name & a bunch of tweets disparging the Dems while approving of the worst scourge of our society.

You are actually surprised at the appalling reaction?

What a confused child he must be.
