Chuck Toad: Romney was "neutered" because "easily offended host countries parse every word."

Just now on Morning Joe...Chuckie's doing damage control for Mitt. Mika and Mike Barnacle are dancing around the "This is a pattern for Romney, it's just who he is." Chuck wonders if Romney hired a Bush admin member as an adviser "as Obama did" before taking the trip.

like most of the US media. When it comes to covering Republicans honestly, they've got the big old lamp shade cone over their head.

Seriously, Chuckles, it's really not just the "easily offended host country" mocking Mitt. The whole world is mocking. And we're not so much "parsing his words" as we are simply reacting to exactly what he said.

I don't understand why Chuck is on TV - he's really terrible. His allegiance is clear, though he pretends to be unbiased.

Willard is now running FROM rather than running FOR.

He's supposed to be in London as a world leader...a former USOC head that was supposed to be the toast of the Olympics and with Mrs. Mittens riding to a gold medal. The American success story and we all just love success over all else

I had to laugh at Mikey Steele's tepid defense that people admire Willard's success and thus all the gaffes and cover-ups mean nothing...that we are all in awe of his wealth. Howard Dean took Mikey apart like a surgeon. But sadly, Mikey has a point...there are plenty out there who are willing to vote for Willard thinking he'll tinkle his riches down on them. Fools...all of them. Here's hoping there are more of us than them for the sake of this country...

"easily offended host countries parse every word."

Remember the outrage when Chavez insulted Bush?

You don't go into other countries and insult their leadership. It's downright moronic for someone who billed this as a trip to bolster is foreign policy creds.

Mitt says stupid stuff in the states all the time but you, David Gregory,
and Wolf Blitzer clean up his blunders 24/7.

You can't flip a channel these days and not see some conservatively biased reporter or commentator shilling for a republican. The CMB is thick like fog.

I thought Mittwit said that he was going to undo all of the damage Obama had done to our image abroad.
