I see two deadlines that Mueller is probably working to beat:

1) Approximately May 1, six months before the 2018 elections. DOJ practice is generally not to bring new things that could affect elections within six months. I think we should probably see a lot of dot-connecting (and new dots) before May 1. (Things that are already public or planned, like the trial of Manafort, would still continue through the six-month period, but he'll be very careful about coming out with big new things during that time.)

2) Before the Reichstag fire.
