I've been on this earth for 57 yrs, and for most of my life America has been fixing problems

with guns and bombs. We, as a country, have killed millions of people around the globe since I was born. We answer violence with exponentially more violence. I have seen nobody connect this fact to the number of people who shoot other people in this country. I see a connection.

borders if we hadn't spent decades looting their nations and committing acts of war against them?

We'll spend generation after generation paying the price for George W Bush's splendid vanity war in the Middle East.

And we're still building into the trump republican war against the world, including the USA.

All these atrocities we commit against our fellow men and women come back to haunt us.

But your words are so true they made me sick at heart when I read them.

Watching those parents scream at us after their children had died horribly in the Iraq war so Junior could one up his Daddy made me sick to know the kind of people we elect.

By chance we elect one good, honest man the media and right wingers tear him to pieces but supported this trash that is in the office right now, until he was elected.

Now,they are horrified but still drag his defenders out every day, while his flunkies destroy what little is good in this country.

I've been here 64 years, much to the detriment of all. When you are taught violence (I'm not talking gunmanship or taekwondo) - AND you were brought up in it (I wasn't) AND you join the USAF anyway?

I fix problems.

In my opinion, most Americans don't know what their government has done with guns and bombs. During the Obama administration I regularly saw Obama criticized for using drones and spying on everyone but haven't seen one comment about Trump using drones or surveillance. Why?

When people have lots of guns, they kill themselves and each other because the weapons are there.
