In spite of his every screw up, lie and inability to be anything close to a human being...

How many voters will pick Romney merely because he's the rich white guy?

Do these voters think that he'd do a better job of running the country simply because he's the rich white guy?

Can rich white guys do no wrong with these voters?

Is what was seeing in the American press the very embodiment of the "Rich White Guy Pass"?

Are most of these voters paying attention to what's going on with the Romney visit to the UK, and if so, are they approving or disapproving of his performance?

Any ideas, people?

Many of them.

Evidently rich white guys can't do much wrong in the eyes of those voters.

Too close for my comfort.

They may or may not be paying attention. Most are not. The ones that are think the MSM is making a big deal out of nothing and that it is biased in favor of President Obama.

Pretty sucky, huh?

By all reasonable standards of fact, abilities, likability, successes, and morality Obama should be at least 30 points ahead of Mitt on all counts. Racism is still the most potent motivator in America and it is what keeps us from being the greatest nation in history with true exceptional-ism, not the made-up kind.

That is my one real question, why are we as a country not PISSED OFF? People know, even Republicans that Romney's polices are the same as the last decade. They know that Romney is just another Bush! They know that if we are going to turn the country around we have to build our way out, they are willing to overlook all this because they genuinely hate the President, thanks to Fox.

The GOP and their mass agenda has shown they are willing to incinerate the entire country just so long as it burns the President.

My question is when do we collectively talk about the worst Congress in American history? When do we get pissed off and run right the fuck over the Republican agenda the way that we did in 2008?

And it's looking as if half the country is not paying attention to how the Republicans in Congress are screwing them.

The flippity-floppity, clippity-cloppity horserace style of the MSM isn't helping either. Look at the way they treated all the Klown Kar Klowns as legitimately capable of running the country.

Notice how utterly ridiculous assertions about the President all take lives of their own.

These people just want to hear what they want to hear and the truth about anything will never get through to them.

They have a God-given, American right to be fucking ignoramuses.

It's completely fucking preposterous the way that the media has behaved. I gotta have hope that some genius will find a way to hold the media accountable for their disregard of our political system. I think Aaron Sorkin is on to something with Newsroom, though at the moment I am not exactly sure what it is. The show is great and it certainly has me thinking.

People need to understand in each of their own congressional districts, how many millionaires there are? what the unemployment rate is? How many failing bridges they have? How much money they are paying in extra energy fee's due to old infrastructure?

for centuries and it will take many more decades, if not another century, for this sentiment to finally go away.

You can't continue to celebrate a distorted version of heroism of the rich white man in every aspect of American education and culture, while rejecting the rest of the story - those not fitting that criteria who helped to build this country, and fighting every effort to bring more balance... and then expect any other result other than their support of someone who is nothing more than the male version of Palin.

I hope Obama makes it just so I can see these people go apoplectic. On the other hand, if Romney wins it will be fun to listen to his excuses a couple years down the road for why the economy still sucks ass.

It's a win win election for me.

The vast majority of the people who won't vote for BO because of his color aren't voting D anyways.

I don't get it, but the marketing of the republican party is SO strong, it just sucks in 47, give or take, percent of the country.

We have an R majority in the House, the Senate is 50/50 to end up in R hands, Kerry and Gore lost to a literal moron, and they were "rich" themselves.

It is plain and simple partisanship.

enough for him to win?

I don't know.

It's true that Rmoney has not unleashed the MOUNTAIN of superpac money on his isde, but in November the question that I cannot answer... will be.

Can money alone win the presidency?

Here you have Big O, a guy who's ALREADY beaten a rich white guy who happened to be a war hero on top of it, he's got infinitely more charisma and he quite simply plays "the game" better at every turn, he's the reigning champ too, which counts for a lot.

On the other side you've got a guy no one can relate to. He's TOO rich, TOO white, and has the personallity of a frozen yam. He's out of touch, lacks grace, charisma, and just plain SUCKS at this whole thing, I mean when the debates come, Big O is going to dunk on him. all. day. long.

Despite all these things, I don't feel confortable or assured that Big O is going to win this. So thin in my faith in the American voter.

we'll see.

More rich white guys who have done little more than inherit a lot of money getting themselves elected because they're the only ones who can afford to play big-money politics and thus the only choices on the ballot. (The lies and deceptions are outweighed by the tax cuts and anti-gummint policies that will follow a win.)

Answer to the first part. NO !. American Idol has been on. Media is owned by rich, old white guys. People who call themselves journalists aren't going to risk their career by telling too much truth. (Google PBS and watch Chris Hedges on Moyers and Company when he tells about getting fired from the NY Times.)

Do they care? Get A Brain, Moran.

who work for shit wages and no benefits in non-union businesses, yet they hate unions even though they've never been within a country mile of one. They are also proud that they work their asses off for shit wages and no benefits and think anyone who doesn't is pampered (I'm not making this up). They hate government even more than unions and blame it for all the nations social and economic ills, yet they worship the armed forces but believe the government is primarily in the business of taking taxes from their shit wages to support undeserving welfare bums so they'll vote for the democrats. They are very angry people. Otherwise, the are very kind and charitable and would walk through fire to help any welfare bum or democrat who showed up on their doorstep. Go figure.

As long as Obama keeps reminding voiters that it was guys like mitt who driove the economy into the ditch and he is doiing all he can ti dig it out with Republicans blocking all his efforts, Obama will easily be reelected. Just hammer into voter minds how Romney was laying off workers and outsourcing thousands of jobs ti china and india in the last decade and Romney will lose in a landslide.
