Why would a bank president "give" Manafort a quuestionable $16 million loan

(or is it a gift?) and expect to be the Secretary of the Army? How would a job in the administration be worth that? Are there other connections between the banker and trump? Russians? Or just manafort and Gates?

He just controlled it. If Manafort fails to repay, fuck it. Who's gonna argue with the Sec. Of the Army?

unreasonable percentage of the bank's net capital. Any reasonable banker wouldn't take a chance like this. Bankers can be sent to prison, too.

I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the setup and arrangements.
