So when Mueller is finished with his investigation, what happens next

Once he has finished, what are the next steps.

Does he have to report to a higher up before charges are laid, if any are??

Does he call a press conference??

Does the public found out straight away or is their months behind closed doors as
Lawyers/Politicians work out what has to be done.

Hope Im making sense with my question.

From there it goes to the House. That means the GOP will do nothing and we will protest like never seen before. If we get the majority in 2018 the Dems will vote to impeach. Most political analysts are saying the investigation will go into 2019 since Mueller is being so thorough and the investigation is so huge and is still growing. If the investigation concludes in 2018 the GOP House will dismiss it and people will take to the streets and all Hell will break out and then they definitely will lose the midterms.

several individuals (and got some guilty pleas). There's a possibility some individuals will be named as "un-indicted co-conspirators" in the future as Richard Nixon was in the Watergate investigation.

nothing changes.

Remember Nixon did not see the Jailhouse and today's Bull Crap is because the Criminal Leader go to walk away without paying the price of Freedom.

In the ocean will be floating the convicted bodies of Flynn, Gates, Manafort, Don Jr., Jared and maybe even the princess herself, Ivanka.

He alone will be left to scream, "Witch hunt! No collusion!"

It's an ocean which is made up of corruption -- big corruption.

He'll file a report and that will be that. A handful of indictments, a couple of guilty pleas to relatively minor stuff. Meanwhile Trump is still happily trashing everything that used to make this country worthwhile and Congressional Republicans are happily colluding with him.

Unless he actually has the power to bring some people to trial. Does he? I honestly don't know.

He can, and I believe he will. He can because there is no clearly stated law or precedent that says he can't. I believe he will for the same reason. This is not Watergate, this is not lying about a blowjob, this is something far bigger, and he will conclude the question has to be decided once and for all. Can the president just do whatever he wants once he is in office, or not? Odd that we've gone almost 230 years without a clear answer, but we've never had President with such blatant disregard for the law before, and a Congress so willing to enable him.

Or, he could just say, "Fuck it, I just spent the last year chasing the biggest criminal of my career, but at least we didn't get Hillary."

Maybe I am totally wrong about him, but he sure doesn't seem like he plans to say, "Fuck it."

If we are able to regain one of the houses, he can present his findings to Congress and the chamber in Democratic control can take it from there.

If Republicans still control both Houses, it won't matter what Mueller does - his findings will go nowhere.

Another reason why it's absolutely critical that Democrats take back one or both of the houses of Congress.

as has been pointed out, we are in largely uncharted territory here. That said, I don't think it will end with a sigh and a whisper. We're talking about the prosecutor who took down John Gotti(!), and who has surrounded himself with a team of top notch legal talent, most of whom left lucrative career positions to join this team. They didn't do that to be a part of something that ends up as "nothing." And don't forget Eric Schneiderman, AG of New York. He can bring state charges that presidential pardons can't touch, and has already indicated he has no problem doing so. He's just waiting to see what Mueller does. This will not conclude quietly, regardless of the avenue Mueller takes when he is ready to move. Whatever happens will be history making. And I do believe his aim is to take down the Trump crime family, just as he did with Gotti. This is BIG. There are many tentacles that reach around the world. I think our patience WILL be rewarded.

It's called "United States v. Richard M. Nixon, President of the United States"

It's the one about handing over the tapes.
