Kevin Smith had a heart attack last night?

I can't link I'm on my phone but it looked like USAToday had it?
Article says he had a complete blockage in LDA (widowmaker), but he went to the hospital and isn't dead..
Can someone confirm?

Kevin Smith says he's lucky to be alive right now.

The director tweeted a selfie in a hospital gown late Sunday night, saying he had suffered a major health crisis.

"After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack," he wrote. "The Doctor who saved my life told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (aka "the Widow-Maker&quot .

The "Jay and Silent Bob" star added that if he "hadn't canceled show 2 to go to the hospital," he would have died.

The BBC article I saw stated that Smith tweeted that he had a heart attack.

My son does not understand my attachment, or interest may be a better word, in this guy. He likes him but I am old, lol. I find him funny and often charming and quite bright. I am so glad he made it. Back in the earlier days off heart surgery he would likely not have made it.

heart attack. Sadly, I have seen people in private practice having chest pain and possible MI tell me "Give me meds as an outpatient, because I will not go to the ER and accumulate more hospital debt I can not pay."

Maybe Smith should publicize how much his life saving event would have cost someone on a bare minimum insurance plan. And remember--that debt can never be erased.
