You Don't See SWAT Team Or Police Going Into A Shooting Situation Alone Or WO Backup.

Sure the deputy did not go in. And yes he supposedly did not do his job. But why was he the only one in the area. And what happened with the other two deputies?

All this blather still distracts from the fact that Cruz should have never had any gun in the first place.

Pure fantasy for the guard to go up against a homicidal maniac armed with a pistol and become another casualty.

Even the deputies doing a bums rush into the school would result in who knows what? Pure fantasy.

Superheroes need to be paid way more for that job.

1. He was the school resource officer, and was the only one on campus when the shooting began. The shooting took 6 minutes of which he remained outside of the building for 4 of those minutes.

2. The other two officers arrived and followed his instructions to establish a perimeter!

Internal Affairs of the Broward County Sheriff's Department is now conducting an investigation, as is the State of Florida, as to why these three officers failed to react to the situation.

Can you point to any legal reason as to why Cruz should not have had an AR-15? At the time he purchased the weapon he had no criminal charges, he stated that he was not suffering from any mental illness.

He had physically attacked the new boyfriend of his former girlfriend. Had he been arrested, prosecuted and convicted, his record would have prevented his buying the AR-15,
