President Bone Spurs - Turned Away in Disgust While a Man Was Bleeding to Death in Front of Him

from the unearthed Stern-Trump interviews, however, came during a chat on July 16, 2008.

“I was at Mar-a-Lago and we had this incredible ball, the Red Cross Ball, in Palm Beach, Florida. And we had the Marines. And the Marines were there, and it was terrible because all these rich people, they’re there to support the Marines, but they’re really there to get their picture in the Palm Beach Post… so you have all these really rich people, and a man, about 80 years old—very wealthy man, a lot of people didn’t like him—he fell off the stage.

“So what happens is, this guy falls off right on his face, hits his head, and I thought he died. And you know what I did? I said, ‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away.

"I couldn’t, you know, he was right in front of me and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him… he’s bleeding all over the place, I felt terrible. You know, beautiful marble floor, didn’t look like it. It changed color. Became very red. And you have this poor guy, 80 years old, laying on the floor unconscious, and all the rich people are turning away. ‘Oh my God! This is terrible! This is disgusting!’ and you know, they’re turning away. Nobody wants to help the guy. His wife is screaming—she’s sitting right next to him, and she’s screaming.

“What happens is, these 10 Marines from the back of the room… they come running forward, they grab him, they put the blood all over the place—it’s all over their uniforms—they’re taking it, they’re swiping (it), they ran him out, they created a stretcher. They call it a human stretcher, where they put their arms out with, like, five guys on each side.

“I was saying, ‘Get that blood cleaned up! It’s disgusting!’ The next day, I forgot to call (the man])to say he’s OK,” said Trump, adding of the blood, “It’s just not my thing.”

Now we know that being the real pussy that he is wouldn't even go a few steps to help an elderly gentleman who fell off of his shitty stage at Mir-a-lago. Hope the older guy sued his ass. but how did it get to this point? Where did civil discourse, debate, and compromise to help the people go? Our country is broken, really broken bad, and I see nothing ahead but more bad. I honestly believe that this country is going to suffer an armed rebellion sometime in this century and it will be bloody and it will really divide this country into smaller regions ruled by local governments or councils and there will be border disputes and skirmishes constantly. The United States will not exist by the end of this century. I am so glad I will be long dead before that happens.

And then later when interviewed about it, when the mean black lady was gone and he didn't have to be scared anymore, boy was he tough and boisterous again.

... the wealthier people are, the more indifferent they are to the other people they've climbed over or exploited to leverage that wealth. A recent Berkley Univ. study showed that drivers in higher end vehicles like BMWs and Mercedes Benz are less likely to slow down when entering a crosswalk, even when pedestrians are present. Contrary to myth, the Republican Party as a whole is more represented by people in the upper income brackets.

So the general problem we are witnessing is the slide into steep inequality. Trump happens to be the most unfiltered mouthpiece for the overpaid.

(And while we're at it, let's stop pandering to these monsters. Let's stop saying rich and poor and start saying overpaid and underpaid!)

Can't say this often enough - I am BEYOND proud, like Over-The-Moon proud, of these kids! Since I'm "Miss Mid-60", I think I can call them kids. These high school students - in Parkland Florida and across the country, who have stepped up to the front lines of this particular battleground - it's hard to find sufficient words of praise for them. It's hard to express the depth of how proud of them I am, and impressed with them, and damn grateful to them! This has been an issue of mine for quite a while.

It's been an issue of mine ever since I lost two friends to ONE Single Argument - and a gun within easy reach. BLAMM! And then BLAMM! again, and both of them are gone. Both of 'em extremely knowledgeable about guns, living in a gun-oriented rural community, legally qualified and licensed to carry and use, having learned the ropes at a very tender age, even working with the police. Gone. All it took was ONE argument, and a handy-dandy gun in the house.

It's been an issue of mine ever since I realized that the reason a classmate of mine was so quiet, and kept to herself all the time. It's because of her two brothers. She used to have THREE brothers. Until the day I learned that the three of them had gone to a legitimate, legally operated and licensed professional gun range. All it took was ONE bullet that ricocheted. And one of her brothers was dead. Instantly. Gone.

I belong to a couple of different gun violence activism groups. We tried after Sandy Hook. Hell, some of us tried after John Lennon was shot. And during the late 60s, when I was starting to wake up to political activism, after Martin Luther King Jr. and Bobby Kennedy got shot.

Some of us have been working on this that long - and even longer. And look how successful we haven't been.

I LOVE these kids. I appreciate them so doggone much! I'm SO proud of them and how gutsy and passionate they are. I hope they mean it - that they're not going to go away and they're not going to forget and they're not going to quiet down about this. I hope they mean it, and do it, and I will be behind them all the way. They're going to make some (maybe many?) of the urgently-needed changes we tried to achieve but couldn't. Maybe because they went straight to social media and reporters' microphones and podiums instead of dissolving into low-key candlelight prayer vigils. Instead of making quiet, passive statements, they immediately switched on Active-mode, making noise, speaking out, going on the offensive. And they're young, passionate and energetic. They don't have years and years of frustration and reversals and neglect and legislative defeat that's had a chance to threaten or dampen their spirit.

I hope they remain fired up. I hope they never fail to vote. And I hope a bunch of 'em run for office. We need them more than even they know.

Like you, I'm extremely impressed with the eloquence and maturity these kids have demonstrated. My biggest fear, they won't be able to sustain it. The seniors will disperse to colleges nationwide. I surely hope they all register to vote.

I came of age as Viet Nam was winding down. I had a student deferment until I graduated and became 1A with a draft number of 64. Never called up and I lost my draft card when my wallet went through the washer. Then there was Watergate. The moment I heard of the break-in I knew Nixon was involved. Between the war and Watergate I was sure my generation would not let it happen again. Alas, all I can say now is that I'm extremely disappointed that my generation allowed it to happen again.

Two Viet Nams with no end in sight, a man with the temperament of a spoiled 10 year old in the big chair, and the GOP drinking the Kool-Aid by the gallon. My conspiracy theory is that climate change is robbing us of our collective common sense.

These kids give me new hope.

These rich people, who are supposed to be better than the average American in some fundamental way, are not.

In fact, these rich people are little more than parasites on the economy. Most do nothing to create jobs, or to benefit those around them. Interesting they all turned away.

If I fell and was in a puddle of my own blood, I'd want to be around regular people, not these rich do-nothing parasites.

In terms of what this story says about Trump...it's hard to find the right words. Despicable only covers it part way. Loathsome, perhaps. He makes me think of a disgusting orange maggot.
