According to her, their pulling the discount offers to NRA members is tantamount to the airlines saying they don't want any gun owners flying on their planes. So SHE'S going to find other airlines to fly.

Stretching that far to paint oneself as a victim can cause some serious damage.

Just about any group with a large-enough membership can apply for a group discount. It's virtually meaningless. I belong to a similar (but very different!) group. We get similar discounts with Hertz, Enterprise, airlines, etc. We never use them. They're discounts off the most expensive, premium brands and fares. 10% off usually. Big freakin' deal. Five minutes of shopping and you'll save 20-30% without the crummy discount card.

as everybody else to get to their convention. The discount wasn't even for all flights, just to the convention. I'm sure the CEOs of Delta and United will be just heartbroken to discover she's traveling on their competitors now.

The last time I flew Delta was as a teen. They lost my bag. I last flew United in 2016 and would rather fly Southwest (much nicer, free checked bags).
