A Facebooker on my newsfeed posted his belief that "Clinton's FBI" has been setting up all the mass shootings we've had to: 1- divert attention from her collusion with Russia and various other traitorous deeds, and, 2- to push her anti-gun agenda. On top of that, he got 57 "likes" and more than a dozen replying they agreed with him!

I pretty much stayed furious at one of my high school friends who kept posting insane right-wing things until I learned she hadn't even checked her FB account in years!

I am in awe that they "bot farms" can tailor a meme that would turn friends against one another and they don't even know what is happening. I think that is why personal communication...you know, talking...is key.

There's LOTS of Trump resistance info being share on Facebook, for one thing. For another, it's important to stay vigilant. Unfriend. Or block. But don't let them win.

Trumpsters, Ryan Libertarians, gun nuts, anti-choicers, racists, misogynists, the rude and obnoxious, etc - ALL blocked. I'm also choosy about what people and sites I follow and allow in my news feed. As a result, my FB experiences are real news informative and a whole lot more pleasant.

Once upon a time, I thought I was accomplishing something by trying to discuss/debate things with those who have opposing viewpoints. Then I realized, painfully in some cases, that it was a futile waste of time and not good for my blood pressure. Now I just block them the same way I'd blow them off in person.
