(9,670 posts)The media is acting passively rather than aggressively. They fear the backlash of unsubstantiated claims, in the interim between the news report and the ultimate conviction. Oddly, they seem to not harbor the same time of apprehensions when the accused is a Democrat.
I imagine when there's real blood in the water, they'll all join in on the carnivory and act as if they were in on it from the beginning.
