UPDATED 2-24-2018 Today United and Delta have cut ties with the NRA.

As my friend Eric Milgram, spokesperson for the Newtown Action Alliance has said, make this an economic issue. Make the firearms industry pay the full costs of the damage their products do.

I've shown in the past with right-wing radio hosts that corporations don't like to be associated with a toxic brand. But they often need a negative news event about the group or person to cut ties.

The Parkland shooting was another occasion for activists to ask corporations, "Do you still want to associate with the NRA brand?" Today 18 of them said no

I emailed last week saying if they did not discontinue NRATV I would quit doing business with them. Below is their generic reply and my original email.

Hello Robert,

I'm so sorry about the inconvenience. I completely understand your disappointment. That's definitely not what we want our customers to experience.

On high priority, I've forwarded your message (as feedback) to Internal Department and I'll make sure the appropriate people in our company see your message, as I know they'll want to read about your experience. Each report they receive is investigated and appropriate action is taken.

Thank you for the information.

Again, I can completely understand how frustrating and annoying the situation can be when something like this happens but believe us it was never our intention. We try our level best to provide convenient and stress free shopping to our customers but in this case we haven't met the standard. Please accept my sincere apologies for this.

As a representative of Amazon.com, I want to assure you that we value our customers' trust above all else--it's the foundation on which our company was built. Please know that we'll continue working hard to ensure that you receive accurate and excellent customer service at all times.

Amazon is grateful to have loyal customers like you. We can't afford to lose you.

We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon.

We'd appreciate your feedback. Please use the buttons below to vote about your experience today.

Your Name: Robert
Comments:I have been an Amazon Customer for years and a prime member for close to a year. I have been completely satisfied and like prime and prime video very much.

You air NRATV on prime. The only thing that would make me cancel prime and quit using Amazon is your support of NRA. If you continue to support NRA, I will not be an Amazon Customer. I will be an ex Amazon Customer. Your support of NRA contributes to the murder of Americans.
