NYT Gates will plead guilty and cooperate

Could plead as early as this afternoon. Going to be a big Friday followed by a weekend of crazy tweets.

That's why his lawyers quit, they were also representing Manafort, and cannot represent 2 people if one pleads guilty and the other not.
so when they quit a few weeks ago, it was a sign Gates was gonna talk. He met with Mueller, he talked, and now is pleading guilty but will have a much lower sentence than Manafort will have.
We knew Gates was gonna plead guilty, because his new lawyer is a specialist in plea bargains.

Manafort still refusing to talk, so Mueller laid about 13 more charges on him. Turning the screws, so to speak.
