"they hate our freedoms" - GWB 2001 - we are being cast as terrorists by the NRA!

Notice the similarity in language between LaPierre at CPAC and GWB speech to congress following 9-11.

NRA: "They hate individual freedom"

BUSH: "They hate our freedoms"

Subtly different - but make no mistake, we are being cast as terrorists by the NRA

But - how about this ironic paragraph from Bush!

"We have seen their kind before. They're the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way to where it ends in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies."

Who's the terrorist now?

that exists, and RIGHTFULLY call the NRA a radical, right wing group.

We are NEVER going to win battles shying away from speaking the simple truth while they scream the most inane things at the top of their lungs.

They FINALLY are vulnerable, and we need to call them what they are, flat out.

And, for the love of god, how hard can it be for dem pols to NOT run from the second amendment, and say, they support the FULL intent of it, which includes the two words "well regulated" and say, which is reflected by even the most conservative of SC justices, Scalia, in Heller, with the opinion that assault weapons are not covered by the second amendment - when an organization breaks ranks from Scalia in its support of unfettered distribution of assault weapons, it is the very definition of a radical right wing group.
