"He only listens to people putting money in his pockets."
For Samuel Zeif, who lost his best friend during the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Trumps recent capitulation to the NRA doesnt come as a surprise.
Speaking to CNNs Wolf Blitzer, Zeif commented on how Trump, since the White House listening session, has been aggressively advocating on behalf of the NRA.
I think he did hear us, Zeif said of the Wednesday session. But he wasnt listening to us, mainly because he only listens to people putting money in his pockets. In this case, blood money. My friends blood. A lot of my classmates blood. I dont think were going to get far with him right now. - Shareblue

(51,613 posts)He said he almost fell for the moron's "I WILL DO SOMETHING" BS. Then after the so-called "listening session" he went back to his hotel,or whatever and saw the photo of the Moron holding the list of talking points in which #5 said, "Say I hear you". He got a crash course in politics. I hope he enjoys his trip around the world with his girlfriend and is accepted into the FL college he applied to and becomes a "Hospitality" major and can attend class without being fearful and afraid in his environment.
