Atlanta CBS noon news reported arrest of 16 year old boy in

Forsyth County, which is just north of north Fulton County. The boy attended West Forsyth High School. Apparently he posted something on social media considered as threatening the school, action to be taken today, and with a firearm. A parent saw it and reported it. The sheriff's detectives investigated it all night and made the arrest this morning. The kid has been turned over to Juvenile Justice Center.

This is a good school in a wealthy county.

always spawn copycat threats. Because kids are stupid. We had one in our little county day before yesterday. And he actually had an AR15 in his house. Another one yesterday north of here. "But, I was just joking!"

of very near misses. I'm puzzled how kids this young find the means to accumulate arsenals. Hell I just worked to buy a new bike. Are parents just lletting kids grow up with zero supervision.

I suspect they're all over the place and police are pressed to cover them.

and maybe something else. Half of the school was picked up by parents. The car lane was as bad as it is after school, according to facebook reports.

The police were notified. A 15 year old boy was picked up that evening. Notifications went out from the sheriff's dept and the school.

I'm baffled that a 15 year old would make threats knowing that a 16 year old had been arrested.

sure why you added that. I would be more shocked if it happened at a "bad" school.

the school fits the profile of schools that have had mass shootings.
