I have to catch myself. I have the urge to respond to Trump's sick and stupid "policy suggestions",

but, 1.) He often tweets or otherwise spews numerous times a day, 2.) Nothing I could say would have any impact on him or his disciples, 3.) The people capable of considering what I say already know he is a national embarrassment and a danger to the world, and, 4.) Any response at all could have the effect of normalizing or dignifying his insane noisemaking.

and if I had editorial control of a major newspaper or cable news channel, I would simply IGNORE Trump completely and ONLY cover his actions (EPA gutted, NASA going to orbit a space station around the moon - WTF, State department running with a handful of senior staff and no ambassadors, etc)
