This is almost too obvious to mention but I haven't heard anyone say it so I might as well.

For armed teachers or guards to stop an active shooter there first has to be a shooter that is active.
Which means dead children.

The alternative, to limit access to guns, would result in not only stopping shooters, it would eliminate shooting incidents.


Also Trump's claim that armed schools will scare away potential shooters doesn't take into account that most of these guys are suicidal and expect to die in the confrontation anyway.

It seems like we should be figuring out how to prevent school shooters in the first place, rather than how to deal with them after they are there.

Add in all the bullshit that can go wrong from arming teachers and the answer is obvious....

WE have to figure out how to limit access to these dangerous weapons and or magazines.
