The White House on Thursday announced the participants for President Trumps meeting with local officials on school safety in the wake of last weeks high school shooting in Parkland, Fla.
The 10 participants include local law enforcement officials, school board members and local government leaders. All but one is either a Republican or does not identify with a party for their office.
The meeting is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and will be open to the press.
The participants are:

Kentucky police Commissioner Rick Sanders
Florida Education Commissioner Pam Stewart
Arkansas Division of Behavioral Health Deputy Director Paula Stone
Henderson County, N.C. Sheriff Charles Stuart McDonald (R)
Colorado staff representative Patrick Neville (R)
Former New York MTA police chief James ODonnell (R)
Bartow County, Ga., school board member Fred Kittle
Parkland Mayor Christine Hunschofsky (D)
