They will listen when a shitload of them are voted out of office.

I guarantee that will get their attention.

And not until that happens, unfortunately.

Nothing will change their minds except the realization that they are going to be gone from Congress.

Only then will they stop worshiping the "golden calf" of the NRA.

The students of the Youth Rebellion have the right idea.

They do their best to protect themselves with gerrymandering and voter suppression.

In the end, the real will of the people must prevail.

This is the only thing that will get the GOP caucus to impeach Trump. Fear of losing their seats, well that, or they wait too long and a new Dem majority will do it.

Even that might be more to their liking than having the black mark of another Nixon on the party's already sullied past.
