This week, there has been a nationwide flurry of school threats.

We had one at a school in my area of Minnesota, complete with a long lockdown with students and teachers cowering in their classrooms.

That's bad enough, but, there is a strong chance that a copycat shooting at a school will still occur soon. That's a pattern. Everyone is on guard, and threats are being taken seriously, but there's still a chance that we'll be hearing about another active shooter in the near future.

How will we react when that happens?

City and sure enough, there have been some here as well (I had no idea and my son is in middle school)! Our population is around 30,000, not a very big place. It is a very scary situation, I don't trust any of these people (RWNJ's), who knows who could be behind this.

in their own communities, not just now, but always. Situations come up more often than we know.

Obviously wrong. They call constantly with automated messages about everything under the sun, not this. In other locations, I have seen them letting the parents know.

and ask why such threats aren't reported to parents, who obviously have the most to lose.

I strongly encourage attendance at school board meetings. They're very educational, indeed.
