Your cause during their appearances. $ are usually in short supply for progressive/liberal causes.

I remember the Swift-boating - it was weeks of protracted innuendo about Kerry's activities in Viet Nam from a plethora of contributors making nightly appearances on CNN, MSNBC shows.

The AWB (assault weapons ban) supporters need to have a group of people who can get on TV EVERY DAY to talk abt the dangers of assault weapons - maybe these youngsters can keep this issue in the forefront long enough to make a lasting impression...

likely counting on Kerry being reluctant to speak at length about HIS experiences in Vietnam - both because it was NOT related to the message he needed to get out in 2004, but because it was very obviously painful and would have taken an emotional toll. The media was guilty of giving the liars more free coverage even as many of their charges were proven to be lies. They just came out with another set of lies. The media ignored that it was not Kerry vs the liars, but the US Navy account vs the liars.

To compare these wonderful students pleading with the country to protect others from what they experienced with the rightwing liars who twisted Kerry's brave service to his country is pathetic.

and I resent your inference.

I merely stated that their frequent appearances in the public eye and their demands for some type of firearms regulations may seep into the American sub-conscious...

You are smearing Kerry and others like Cleland, to whom the term retroactively was applied.

I just want to see some sort of concerted effort to attack the NRA over and over and over.

The Trumpets and the NRA and the Republicans are tearing down all of America's cherished institutions.

Now I read that LaPierre is attacking the FBI. Why? (Rhetorical question. I know why...)

Can and should be modified and the TRUTH should be used by progressives against their opponents to be more competitive in these political campaigns. Taking the high road and sticking to issues alone has resulted in losing candidates!

For example, if the Dems and the Clinton campaign hadn't been so busy taking the high road during the last Presidential Campaign, everyone would have heard about Melania Trump's porn career, DJT's numerous affairs and shady business dealings, etc. The Trump Campaign may have thought twice abt hosting Pres Bill Clinton's accusers at the debates!

Dems are too nice to do what it takes to win elections and when Dems lose, we lose!
