David Hogg’s mom reveals family targeted by death threats over gun activism: ‘I’m angry and exhausted’

TRAVIS GETTYS
22 FEB 2018 AT 07:22 ET

The mother of David Hogg, the Parkland teen who has become a leader in a grassroots effort to enact new gun safety legislation, said her family has received death threats over the boy’s activism.

Rebecca Boldrick, an elementary school teacher, said conspiracy theorists attacking her son as a “crisis actor” and FBI stooge have encouraged violent threats against her and her loved ones, reported the Washington Post.

“I’m under so much stress,” Boldrick said. “I’m angry and exhausted. Angry, exhausted and extremely proud.”

Conspiracy theorists have pointed to Hogg’s admission during a TV interview that his father had retired from the FBI and claimed the teen was being used to cover up the agency’s failures to stop the gunman despite reports of his disturbing behavior.

Health care failed the young man - that's taken for granted here in America.

The third leg of the Parkland stool is an AR 15.

However, with comments like this his guns should have been taken away at minimum and he should have been helped.

reported it to the FBI.

But since there is no such career path as "professional school shooter," even if the FBI had checked him out, he could have just said he was joking around to troll people. It wasn't actually a direct threat.

Someone posted that he put a gun to someone's head. If that really happened, and it was reported, the local police should have arrested and charged him.

If so, why aren't they being criticized as harshly as the FBI? Those kinds of crimes aren't really the job of the FBI. That's stuff the local police are supposed to take care of.

Mean death threats are made by cowards behind a computer aka the 400 lb idiots on a bed like tRump described.

I wouldn't take any death threats from the shit kickers on 4chan or reddit serious. They are below human scum, they are the turds that are petrified by the earth that are all but forgotten, only to be unearthed once in a while to see the light before getting buried again.

senders, and prosecute them using "Terroristic Threat" laws. That's what I think. Very few people who send those threats are truly anonymous. Most could be found, arrested, and tried for their threats, I believe. It would take some sleuthing, of course. I would be willing to help discover identities. I'm pretty good at it actually, and don't stop until I'm absolutely certain I have the right identity.

or at least mainstream them. all those stations are NRA stations

from republiconradio.org
FLORIDA 20 Florida 10, Florida St. 4 Miami 2, South Florida 2, Central Florida 2

If the NRA paid $1000/hr for radio time these 88 universities endorse $1BIL/year's worth

at $1000/hr the NRA is getting about $1.5 MIL worth of free support EVERY DAY from radio stations flying the sports banners of those schools

Alex Jones isn't just a mere "journalist" - he's a terrorist at this point. What happened yesterday was an act of terror - facilitated by a hostile agency calling itself "news". Alex Jones would make a great James Bond villain. The next evolution of Elliot Carver in "Tomorrow Never Dies". Although he lacks that kind of charisma.

If the righties think they are going to shut this kid up they are mistaken. He is on fire. The only way they can shut him up is to kill him and the righties are just about stupid to do something like that but it would be a huge mistake. The kids are galvanized along side with him and if something like that happened....I can't imagine the outrage. These kids are serious and the republicans in Florida and elsewhere better wake up if they want to even attempt to keep their offices. It may already be too late for them. First graders didn't have a voice, these kids are almost adults, educated and understand the politics involved.
