Did you hear Sam Zeif at the "Listening?"

I saw posts earlier today speculating about who were invited to this event, and lamenting that the vocal Parkland students weren't there. Well, there could be nothing more eloquent than Sam Zeif. He was followed by an articulate Sandy Hook parent. It wasn't a set up.

Rachel showed the two of them. Sorry I don't have a link. Does someone else, maybe?

The two were voices of truth.

In fact, I thought Sam's words would make an excellent Springsteen song.

Of Sandy Hook Promise. Send them a donation and she'll email you three times a day.

I feel like I know her. It was good to see her and a man named Barden who is also Sandy Hook Promise.

how he realized Trump wasn't going to do anything and it was all just a game when Trump only wanted to talk about mental illness and arming teachers, which he thought was ridiculous. He's a very smart, articulate kid and he saw right through Trump.

It was just amazing that he was able to provide such a heartfelt and articulate recounting of events that occured just a week ago, and then implore them to do something. I would have broken down but he held off until afterwards. He is such an impressive young man who was thrown into a horrible situation, and showed our worthless president what a true man is supposed to be like.
