Utterly shamed and exposed by the Future of America. He will never be President.

(15,286 posts)If he's 18, that's 7 years until he's 25 and eligible to run for Senate. He might miss running against Rubio by a year, though.

(10,098 posts)God, I wish I could recommend this a thousand times. Why is it that a high school student can ask better questions than the corporate media ever would, could, or will? We all know the answer to that.
I see it somewhere once again, it has been a long long time, but if I look really hard, there it is..........hope.
Peace

(82,383 posts)a girl, don't remember name, but she said they don't have to worry about $$ or getting re-elected. So they also don't have issues about access or whatever drives the M$M.

(1,528 posts)He just ran in 2016 after bowing out cuz he didnt make the presidential cut and lost the nomination to Donald.
This was after he said the Senate was awful and he hated it and blah blah.
Then he had no apparent prospects so got back in the Senate race.
Great to see the students and parents get some time to question him.

Would have been a brutal burn. He did pretty well on his own though.

(61,695 posts)for showing up and facing angry, distraught people. I'm glad he could see that the families there require a lot of courage going forward in their grief.
Politicians like Rubio need to move outside of their NRA brainwashing. He needs to give his voters what they want. It costs him nothing. If he wants to be president, he needs to completely flip.

(11,885 posts)For Florida voters to vote out of office people like Rubio and Scott out of office for promoting the NRA over saving students lives. Arming teachers is trump's answer, saying it would have ended sooner, but a assault weapons ban could have , as statistics have shown, stopped it completely, or lower the numbers of attacks, and numbers of killed. trump's arming teachers was probably from the NRA telling him what to do. The GOP will not protect our school kids, voters will next election.

Hortensis
(58,785 posts)amoral, dysfunctional, sadistic, thief and defrauder who admitted to assaulting women and was known before the election to have at least been flirting with treason with Russia. Others who were upset by losing their white advantage in a changing world ignored all that to vote for him too.
I can't imagine that anyone who still plans to vote Republican in 2020 --despite the many, many wakeup calls since they gave control of our federal and most state governments to the Republicans-- would be dissuaded in the slightest by this.
